What's Knew Tour, Jonathon Hornedo
The What's Knew Tour is based on the original event from January 14, 2016 in which Jonathon Hornedo flew from London to Los Angeles in support of his debut album What's Knew. Taking an Uber from LAX he arrived at Pretend Gallery for an evening event where an audience was waiting. His paintings were pre-installed and digitally projected as a slideshow. An ambient electronic music composition called SCORE by artist/musician Christy Roberts Berkowitz was the soundtrack for the evening.
Using his album, the original paintings, digital files, prints, and setting, Hornedo will organize a fresh iteration of the original tour. Leaning on structured improvisation and the narrative of the moment, Hornedo offers the leading edge of What's Knew as a new, expanding narrative. He will fly to anywhere in the world. No country, climate, building, or landscape is off limits unless extremely dangerous or politically volatile.
A documentary film will be made from the beginning of the trip to the end. You will receive the Limited Edition Collector's Copy.
Includes a copy of What's Knew (Deluxe Edition)
Limited Edition of 15 plus 1 AP. (Which means that this tour project will occur no more than 15 times in Hornedo's lifetime.)
